A Clean Home Doesn’t Need Strong Smells

One of the first things people told me when I started giving samples of my products was:

“The scent is too soft.”

Many people wanted stronger fragrances that stayed in the home for hours because that smell made them feel the house was cleaner.

And honestly, I understood why.

We’ve become so used to connecting cleaning with strong smells, foam, and products that take over the entire house.

But I would always tell my friends and family the same thing:

The scent is not what cleans.

The foam is not what cleans.

The product itself is what makes the difference.

Some of the best natural cleaning products on the market barely have a scent at all.

At some point, strong chemical smells became so normal that people started associating discomfort with cleanliness.

Almost as if cleaning needs to “smell strong” to work.

But a clean home should not feel overwhelming.

It should feel fresh, calm, and comfortable to live in.

That way of thinking became an important part of Easy Citrus.
